Here are a couple of nice older transistorized (No ICs) strip style VHF / UHF distribution amps. Only ONE left 10/18/04.
Combined UHF/VHF or separate inputs with switch to choose.
UHF Gain control, High Band and Low Band VHF controls and an FM Trap switch. The gain adjustments are 3 turn pots for easy fine setting.
Combined UHF/VHF output. All inputs and outputs are 75 Ω (Ohms).
This is a nice high output amp for a medium to large MATV system. My eight outlet home MATV system only needs a 25 dB amp to run it. This will run a whole apartment building if you use a splitter setup and the whole complex if you use taps.
Also useful for DX TV work. 45 dB is serious gain for long distance reception.
This is setup for wall mounting, with the ears on the back. By moving these to the front and mounting them under the handles, you can use this in a rack.
I have two of these, both are in similar very good condition.
I have cleaned the gain control pots and dusted the units out. They both checked OK, both with a dB meter and visual reception check. But they are older, used units and I can only guarantee them to not be DOA.
