AJ's Favorite FREE Software

The following are links to various places where you can download the programs.

Search Bar:
My new favorite SIMPLE search tool.
A real time saver, easily customizable, just plain great.

Adobe Acrobat Reader:
A must have to read many online documents.

SiteAid:
A fine free HTML editor. This page was written with it.

HTML-Kit:
A more advanced HTML text editor that is more complete and is still being
updated. Although the layout is similar to SiteAid, the sheer number of tools
can be a bit daunting. Optional add ons include spell check, thesaurus and HTML Tidy.

TClockEx:
A neat little program that will expand the functionality of the Windows
system tray clock, includes time and date options, a calendar
and system resources monitoring.
Many options, but easy to use.

Dimension 4:
Want to have one clock that's right?
Synchronize your PC clock to the Naval Observatory Master Clock.

(I remove the shortcut from StartUp and put it in the Quick Launch Toolbar,
So I can use it when I want to.)

Mile Stones:
Mille Bornes for your PC. A French driving card game.

Moosentration:
Concentration with Moose. A fun game for all ages.
Those winters in Maine must be long.

PassKeeper:
Organize your passwords for all those personalized pages and online accounts.
Serious encryption, travels well (fits on a floppy).

And Last but not Least: Not really Free but not very well known.
Cliptray, Part of the Win 98 Resource Kit
Located on your Windows 98 CD in the Tools folder, reskit,
Read the readme and install the whole kit if you have room.
It's not very big and has some really handy tools including the
Windows 98 version of Tweak UI.
Newest version of Tweak UI available from here.
